mine is on the far right, Andi's is The Shining. I was so proud of his creation this year, even though it came from a pattern. He did just such a great job. Mine is original me. The others are all from first time carvers.
Yes, I am...
Sorry I haven't been able to reply to comments or visit your streams in last three days...it's been busy. Last night, I was busy scaring people at my friend Tonny's "Haunted Basement". What fun! I had my D40 on remote control...
Great zombie costumes. I looked around for a monk spade for a minute before I realized that they were just pretending to be zombies.
Taken on Halloween 2007 in New York with my DIY soft bouncer. 1/3sec at f/14, TTL flash (modern cameras are awesome), pre-focused at about 6 feet at the beginning of the evening. ISO 200. Pushed (and maybe cropped) in Photoshop.
Crazy witch head inside a fortune telling type ball on a pedestal. It moves, spews smoke out of her eyes, and talks. There's a lady in the background with a mic that somehow attaches to this thing and makes it talk... very cool and creative!
Happy Halloween !
Had hoped to do some interior shots... too creepy.... I mean too dangerous, the floor was quite rotten.
Our hotel was actually right next to the mansion. You could hear the creepy music playing all the time. You can see the hotel on the right. Lucky our room was more towards the middle of the hotel. The hotel next to this mansion was called Edgewater Hotel.
The SF Day of the Dead Procession is a celebration of and for the Dead.
