The "man of a thousand faces" stars as a vampire named "Burke" in director Tod Browning's lost classic silent film, "London After Dark." His"protege" in the top left and bottom second from the right panel is "Bat Girl" played by actress Edna Tichenor. The frightened woman in the bottom second from left panel is "Miss Smithson," actress Polly Moran.These shots were part of some 200 still photos that is all that's left of the movie.
